Die ukrainisch-amerikanische Pianistin, Kunstfotografin und Künstlerforscherin Elina Akselrud ist die künstlerische Leiterin ihres multidisziplinären Teams Intertwining Arts sowie die federführende Künstlerin aller seiner Crossover-Projekte.
Der Schwerpunkt ihrer Arbeit liegt auf der Erweiterung des Konzepts eines Klaviersolokonzerts durch die Zusammenarbeit mit Künstlern aus anderen Genres und die gleichzeitige Verbindung von Musik mit Theater, Fotografie/Videoprojektion, Live-Malerei, Tanz, Lichtkunst und 3D-Projektion auf der Bühne.

The complete recording offers a unique opportunity to follow the development of the visionary composer Alexander Scriabin, from the early romantic influences to the mystical and avant-garde sounds of his late works. It provides a deep insight into the innovative harmonies and expressive possibilities of the piano that Scriabin masterfully explored. These recordings also offer a special challenge for the performers, as Scriabin’s music combines technical virtuosity with intense emotional and philosophical depth.
Ukrainian-American pianist, fine art photographer, and artist researcher Elina Akselrud is the artistic director of her multidisciplinary team Intertwining Arts, as well as the lead artist of all its crossover projects.
The main focus of her work has been expanding the concept of a piano solo recital by collaborating with artists from other genres and simultaneously blending music with theater, photography/video projection, live painting projection, dance, lighting art, and 3D projection on stage.
