Alexandra Sostmann und ihr aktuelles Bach-Projekt: Das „Wohltemperierte Clavier”, Band I
Wenn man Ihre früheren CD-Programme und nicht zuletzt ihr letztes, sehr erfolgreiches Album «Grenzgänge» Revue passieren lässt, so fällt auf, dass die Werke Johann Sebastian Bachs einen festen Bezugspunkt für die Pianistin Alexandra Sostmann bilden. Bach ist fast immer dabei.
Von daher war es nur konsequent, dass sie sich nun nach einem ausführlichen und intensiven Notenstudium ins Studio begab, um eine Gesamtaufnahme eines seiner Hauptwerke, den ersten Teil des «Wohltemperierten Claviers» aufzunehmen.
Erhältlich ab Herbst 2023.

If one reviews her earlier CD programmes and not least her last, very successful album «Grenzgänge», it is striking that the works of Johann Sebastian Bach form a fixed point of reference for the pianist Alexandra Sostmann. Bach is almost always there.
It was therefore only logical that, after extensive and intensive study of the music, she now went into the studio to record a complete recording of one of his major works, the first part of the «Well-Tempered Clavier».
