Irina Georgieva plays „Rach 3“
Anfang 2022 erscheint ein Album der Pianistin Irina Georgieva mit zwei der wichtigsten Werke von Sergei Rachmaninow: dem 3. Klavierkonzert und den „Paganini“-Variationen. Es begleitet das Sinfonieorchester Basel.
Irina Georgieva ist Preisträgerin internationaler Wettbewerbe und konzertiert regelmäßig in der Schweiz, Deutschland und Italien, in Südamerika undden Balkanstaaten. Zudem haben sie ihre Konzerte nach England, Marokko, Frankreich und Asien geführt.
Beeindruckend ist ihr Repertoire, das klassische Musik vom Barock bis in die Gegenwart umfasst. Besonders liebt sie die virtuose Klaviermusik des ausgehenden 19. und des 20. Jahrhunderts, die von einer expressiven Tonsprache, besonderen Stimmungen und differenzierten Klangfarben geprägt wird.

At the beginning of 2022, an album by pianist Irina Georgieva will be released featuring two of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s most important works: the 3rd Piano Concerto and the «Paganini» Variations. She will be accompanied by the Basel Symphony Orchestra.
Irina Georgieva has won prizes at international competitions and regularly gives concerts in Switzerland, Germany and Italy, in South America and the Balkan states. Her concerts have also taken her to England, Morocco, France and Asia.
Her repertoire is impressive, encompassing classical music from the Baroque to the present. She is particularly fond of the virtuoso piano music of the late 19th and 20th centuries, which is characterised by an expressive tonal language, special moods and differentiated timbres.
